As part of E&H Foundation, one of my first fundraising experiences involved the inception and executing of our campaign on Global Giving, one of the largest crowd sourcing communities in the world. To become a member of the community, we had to raise $5,000 from 40 donors during the September Accelerator Contest in 2018.
Not only did we manage to raise the requisite amount within three weeks to forge permanent partnership with Global Giving, we garnered the support of 65 people, made new friends of the foundation and went on to becoming one of the top vetted organizations on the platform.
From September 2018 until November 2019, E&H Foundation has raised $10,000 ( 7 Lakhs) covering the education of 6 classes (approx 150 children) in Uttar Pradesh, India. This has been possible due to the efforts of the team members and the board in galvanizing their personal and professional networks in the US, UK and some other parts of the world including Dubai.
